Room 6 had a busy week last week.   We had time in the Life Education classroom with Paula, learning about what characteristics we need to display to be a good friend.  Honest and Trust Worthy were high on the list.

We also had a trip to the Waikanae Public Library where we met Martene the librarian.   We found about all the wonderful book resources available to us - for FREE!

As a class we are working hard, both by ourselves and in small groups.  We share our ideas and thoughts and co-construct new learning.

We do lots of art activities.  Here is Laura's placemat showing her goals and what she is good at.  I like the bright colours and the way she designed the borders, as well as the "my skills" section.

Room 6 is a fun place to be.
